IDES OF MARCH PADDLE DETAILS: This Adventure is always a group favorite. We will paddle the Chippewa River that runs through some great scenery and eventually into downtown Mount Pleasant. This trip will include your transportation and lunch on the river.

The Group will meet at the Rockford Powers Outdoors (65 S. Main, Rockford, MI) at 8:15am to load up your boats and gear. We will depart by 8:45am and arrive at the Chippewa around 10:00am. We will spot the cars and be on the river by 10:45am. Lunch on the river should be around 12:30 - 1:00pm depending on River Flow. After lunch, we will paddle another 2.5 hours down to Island Park, Mt. Pleasant.

DETAILS: This Adventure winds us down the wooded Pere Marquette River. Usually the only people we share the river with in April are fisherman! It is a perfect time of year to get your kayak out of storage and come join us for this day trip.
The Group will meet at the Newaygo Powers Outdoors (27 State Rd, Newaygo 49337) at 8:30am to load up. We will depart by 9:00am and get to Rainbow Rapids on the P.M. around 10:15am. After we spot the cars, we should be on the river by 10:45am. Lunch will be served on the river at Peninsula Point. We will then continue on and should be off the river by 3:30pm. Back in Newaygo by approximately 5:00pm
