Our Guides come from all walks of life, but share one common interest - a love for the outdoors. We have years
of paddling, hiking, camping and survival experience as well as superior knowledge of the waterways and trails we undertake. Lets just say that the guides at The Outdoor Adventure Co. have spent a night or two in the woods! Our team is here to provide direction and leadership on every activity and trip we offer. Adventures has the resources, gear, and know-how to embrace all that Mother Nature has to throw our way. Gabriel "Cash" Slominski is the Co-Owner and Head Guide for Adventures. Jacob "Red" Slominski is the Co-Owner and Proprietor for Adventures. Jacob also manages his full time duties with Powers Outdoor retail stores. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rose "Rojo" Gonzalez is one of the Guides and Head Cook for Adventures. Originally from Chicago, she has been vacationing (i.e. training) in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan since she was a kid.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Doug "DJ" Powers is one of the Guides for Adventures. DJ is an avid canoeist and outdoorsman. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jessica "Jess" Clarady is a Guide for Adventures. Jess is a Michigan native and is a year round camper, paddler and Guide. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brett "BP" Powers is a Guide and Trip Planner for Adventures. Brett has been planning trips for many years and finds the best place to experience the outdoors is from the back of a canoe.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nick "POW" Powers is a Guide for Adventures. Nick is from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and brings us his experiences from Lake Superior to Alaska.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Greg "Gregorio" Slominski is a Guide for Adventures and the Owner of Powers Outdoors. Jason "JP" Powers is a Guide for Adventures. Jason has military medical training and years of experience in the outdoors and on the water.
